Citizens Fiber is a rapidly growing telecommunications company specializing in Gigabit Internet, Cable TV, and Telephone services over a fully fiber optic network. Citizens is the first Gigabit Internet provider in Western Pennsylvania, comprised of 26 employees, with goals to expand its service area to surrounding cities. The main office is located in Mammoth, PA.

Job Description

Citizens Fiber is seeking an individual to assist our customer base in troubleshooting and resolving issues with their Internet, Cable and Phone service. Potential candidates should be familiar with Wifi configuration and setup, Windows 10 network setup, email configuration, digital cable boxes and DVRs.

This is a full-time position which offers opportunity to grow additional skills within our company as the candidate becomes proficient with the systems that we use. The position will require minimal weekend on-call work, generally around 1 weekend a month and is compensated as overtime pay. Weekday office hours will vary slightly but will fall between 8am and 7pm in 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday.


  • Answer phone calls from existing customers, providing support and logging tickets into our billing system.
  • Respond to emails and chat sessions from customers seeking technical support.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure they are not having ongoing issues.
  • Provide in-house support for employees and technicians for email and basic computer issues.
  • Assist field technicians both remotely and on-sight during service installations and troubleshooting.


  • 0-2 Years support experience
  • High-school diploma
  • Patient, outgoing and friendly
  • Passion for all things technical and a desire to learn new skills
  • Demonstrable ability to configure Wifi

Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with POP3 and IMAP
  • Ability to terminate Cat5 and Coax wiring


Hourly Pay commensurate with experience
